01What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file stored by your browser. Some are essential to a login. Those do not need prior consent. Anything used for advertising or audience measurement would need your yes first. We do not use those.
02Cookies we set
Supabase may split the session cookie into several pieces (`sb-…-auth-token.0`, `.1`, …). They all do the same job: keep your session.
| Name | Purpose | How long | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Keeps you signed in to Games2Test (Supabase session). | Up to about 1 year, or until you log out | Strictly necessary |
| g2t-oauth-intent | Remembers whether you started as a creator or a tester during Google or Discord sign-in. | 10 minutes | Strictly necessary |
03Stored in your browser, not as a cookie
When you dismiss the cookie notice we store `g2t-cookie-notice` in localStorage so we do not show the bar again. That is not a cookie and it never leaves your device.
04Third parties
Google or Discord may set their own cookies on their sign-in pages. Stripe may set cookies on Checkout and Connect. Those pages are theirs, not ours. We do not drop a marketing pixel from those companies on Games2Test pages.
05How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. If you block the session cookie you will not stay signed in. That is expected.
