About Games2Test

Get real players
to test your game.

Games2Test is a playtesting platform for independent developers, solo developers, small studios, and early prototypes. A developer adds a game, buys playtest seats, and reads what players noticed. A player passes a short unpaid qualification, reserves a seat, and is paid after the report is approved.

Who it is for
Independent developers, solo developers, small studios, and people testing an early build or prototype. Players can join to test games and be paid after a reviewed report.
Who the testers are
Real players, not a professional QA team. Before paid work, a tester completes a short unpaid qualification that checks they can follow instructions and explain what they noticed.
What a developer receives
Each tester’s written answers to the questions the developer wrote, a private session recording when the developer asked for one, and the status of each seat: reserved, submitted, or validated.
How a seat is filled
The developer chooses the platform, the report language, the play time, the number of testers, and the questions, then pays. Nothing is public until that payment. A qualified tester then reserves a seat, or applies first if the developer chose to approve applicants. The private brief and access details stay hidden until a seat is booked.

Questions

What is Games2Test?

Games2Test is a playtesting platform for independent developers, solo developers, small studios, and early prototypes. Developers pay for playtest seats. Qualified players try the build and answer the developer’s questions. A session video is included when the developer asks for one. Players are paid after the report is approved.

Are Games2Test testers professional QA?

No. Testers are real players. A short unpaid qualification checks that they can follow instructions and describe what they noticed. Games2Test does not present them as professional quality-assurance staff.

How does a developer start a playtest?

Create an account, add the game (a web link, a key, or another way in), then choose the platform, report language, play duration, number of testers, and questions. Pay to publish. Qualified testers reserve a seat, unless you chose to approve each applicant first. You do not have to schedule each session yourself.

What does the developer get back?

A written report for each completed seat, based on the questions they set. If they asked for a session video, they also get a private recording. The campaign page shows which seats are reserved, submitted, or validated.

How does payment work?

The developer pays per seat in euros before testers can book. The amount is shown before checkout. A tester is paid only after an administrator approves the report. That pay is a transfer to the tester’s Stripe account. Games2Test is not an escrow service and not a wallet, and the transfer is not the same as a confirmed bank deposit. Unused seats that were never reserved can be closed and refunded.

Do testers have to qualify first?

Yes, before a paid mission. The qualification is unpaid and takes about 10 minutes: a few minutes in a demo, a short video, and a few questions. Paid missions open after it is accepted.

Which platforms can a campaign target?

The developer picks one platform and one report language for the campaign. Platforms include PC, Mac, Linux, web, iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox. Report languages include English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese.
